I would like to welcome you and your student to fourth/fifth grade! I am excited and honored to be a part of your child’s education this year. Together we will be learning a lot, working hard, and having lots of fun!
I grew up in the Spokane area and completed my undergraduate degree from WSU (Go Cougs!). In 2001, I received my Masters in Teaching degree from Whitworth College. Since then, I have had experience teaching in all grades from K-8, but more specifically in the intermediate grades.
The fourth and fifth grade years are very exciting and two of my favorites. Fourth grade is a year full of transitions. In social studies fourth graders will be learning about our great state of Washington, while fifth graders will be studying the United States. This year we will delve into problem solving both in math and science, and both grades will continue to develop their writing skills in Writer’s Workshop.
I look forward to working with you and your student on this journey of learning and discovery.
Your Partner in Education,
Jennifer Wilson
